PASSION COCKTAIL

Spring is here and in Rome it already feels like summer (for my despair). This weekend I was sunbathing in the terrace and decided to make a fresh and cold cocktail for the occasion.

Passion fruit is super hard to find in Italy and it’s very pricy, but I sometimes find it at the tropical corner of a supermarket nearby.

My first idea was to make a passion fruit capirinha (I’m the master of the Caipirinha and you can read the recipe here) but I wanted something less sugary and fresher.

Ingredients:

  • One shot of Vodka
  • Two shots of fizzy water
  • A tea spoon of sugar
  • One passion fruit
  • Ice

How to do it:

Just toss everything on the shaker and it’s Done. I’ve used the passion fruit shell to decorate the martini glass.
