LAZY CAKE

I’m all about practicality, and since I was really running out of time for a surprise birthday party I hosted I decided to make this make with maximum effect and minimal effort. Looks good hun?

I found at the supermarket the round cake base, already baked. And just cut it to size. I used four layers for this. Two different diameters. Also the cream was bought from the supermarket, already made, just added some whiskey so the flavour was more sophisticated.

And than just mount  everything! One layer of cake, on layer of cream. Than just add some different berries, icing sugar and some fresh flowers. It’s thaaaaat simple.

I’m all for baking and cooking from scratch, but when time is the enemy there’s a good option to make something with a personal touch that doesn’t look like it was taken straight from the supermarket.
